加州伯克利宣布多个研究生专业取消GRE要求，还有哪些大学不要求提交GRE？

　　2022留学申请季开始了，继之前宣布本科无需SAT成绩之后，加州伯克利又官宣：研究生不需要GRE成绩！

　　大部分研究生项目将继续暂停一年GRE要求！意味着UC Berkeley超过125个研究生项目不用提交GRE成绩！

　　比如最受留学生关注的EECS院系，2021年9月起，不再要求也不接受GRE成绩了！要知道加州大学伯克利的电气工程与计算机科学系在世界范围内居于Top!其中，计算机科学、电气与电子工程专业皆在全美前三！

　　研究领域涵盖人工智能、集成电路、计算机图形、信息安全、信号处理等。每年该院系申请人数众多，录取率只有12%左右。当然国际学生雅思、托福还是需要提交的！

　　UC Berkeley其他不需要GRE的研究生项目还有：环境科学、政策与管理系(Environmental Science, Policy, and Management);生物物理学(Biophysics);植物微生物(Plant & Micro Biology)等等。

　　加州大学伯克利研究生部主任Lisa García Bedolla对此表示，很高兴有不少部门在招生过程中取消GRE的要求，同时我们期待能制定更好的评估方法。

　　除了减少对GRE的依赖，学校研究生部将与教职员工合作，改进研究生整体录取，并且关注各系研究生教育中的多元化和包容性。

　　加州伯克利作为综合研究型大学，不仅拥有大量的研究生项目，还作为全美研究生教育的风向标，每一次政策的发布也会引起其他学校的关注和跟进。

　　目前来看，除了UC Berkeley，还有很多学校的硕士研究生项目和博士项目同样不再强制提交 GRE 或 GRE Sub。

　　● 布朗大学

　　计算机科学硕士、生物工程硕士和博士不要求提交 GRE 和 GRE Sub分数，但教育学必须提交GRE成绩。

　　● 杜克大学

　　生物工程、电气和计算机工程、材料工程等专业针对2022fall申请人实施 GRE 和 GRE Sub 可选政策，即有分数就可以提交，但不提交成绩也不会影响录取审核。

　　计算机科学硕士要求提交GRE分数。

　　● 纽约大学

　　生物学的硕士和博士都不需要提交GRE，而且明确表示招生官不会审查GRE成绩。

　　但像热门专业：计算机科学、数据科学硕士项目仍然必须提交GRE;MS Accounting仅为美本符合要求的学生提供GRE/GMAT豁免政策。

　　土木工程采取 GRE 可选政策，生物学、计算机科学则不作要求。

　　机械工程、数量经济学硕士要求提交GRE。
