北京体育节目主持人魏翊东谢哈留学生活

北京知名体育节目主持人魏翊东在谢菲尔德哈雷姆大学开始了他为期6个月的英国留学生活。他进修的是西方体育新闻专业（Western sport journalism practice）。

魏翊东在北京电视台从事新闻工作已经由14年了，作为一位职业主播，他参与了很多世界顶级的体育盛事，包括世界杯，奥林匹克运动会还有很多中国国内的体育赛事。

Wei said: "The professional advantages I can gain from studying sport journalism combined with the warm invitation from the University persuaded me to come to Sheffield Hallam. The meaningful content of the course means I can obtain more up-to-date solid theories and learn about leading practical experience.

"I have already fallen in love with the city and University. The warm welcome and sincere help and support from all the tutors and students makes me feel at home and Sheffield is a peaceful and elegant city with lots of unique architecture."

During his stay here, Wei will research the UK's leading sports industries, including football and snooker. He believes the sporting achievements and experience here in Sheffield and the UK will help develop his future work. Wei will anchor a new TV programme on Beijing TV (which broadcasts to an estimated 60 million people) which will focus on the coverage of world football league matches - especially in Britain - when he returns to China.
