《爱尔兰人的血液》——追溯爱尔兰民族起源

　　Irish Network China将于2013年2月20日放映爱尔兰纪录片导演兼制片人John Murray的获奖作品《爱尔兰人的血液》。这部电影主要讲述的是爱尔兰人的起源问题。John曾经为世界顶级的广播公司导演过30余部电影，并获得过爱尔兰国家级奖项无数。

　　We are opening our 2013 film event calendar in style with a talk and screening this Wednesday (Feb. 20) with the acclaimed documentary film director and producer, John Murray.

　　We will screen part one of John’s award-winning documentary “Blood of the Irish” and John will give a talk afterwards about how the film was made. John will also answer questions from the audience. “Blood of the Irish” tackles a multitude of questions about where the Irish came from. Using groundbreaking studies from Trinity College Dublin as well as research conducted especially for this project, the two-part series traces the story of Ireland’s ancestors from Kenyan plains through Ice Age Europe and to the remarkable cave art of Northern Spain. It’s a fascinating story of survival, adaptation and tenacity.

　　John has directed over 30 films for some of the world's leading broadcasters and has won numerous national and international awards. He has shot in locations as diverse as Mount Everest, the North Pole, Siberia and the Sahara. He has also produced 70 other films with leading Irish and international directors. John is managing director of Crossing the Line Films & Productions, one of Ireland's leading documentary producers for the international market. CTL’s films have been broadcast in over 150 countries.
